My Story
I am a married father of two who is passionate about digital and film photography, camping & four-wheel driving in my spare time. I worked in the IT industry for approximately 22 years before making the move into retail management.
I love technology but have found my creative side growing into a passion over the last 15 years or so, to include photography, videography, blog writing & drone photography. More recently, I've been getting into videography. I have a few short YouTube videos published, but have been considering shooting more videos alongside my photography.
My creative side means I have gained experience in software packages such as:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Premiere Pro
Capture One
DaVinici Resolve
Final Cut Pro
Gluemotion
I have used additional programs such as Adobe After Effects and Indesign, and whilst my exposure to these is minimal I'm looking forward to learning more about all of these programs.
My comfort in speaking to a camera with no one else around is growing, and becoming more natural.
My knowledge of technology has enhanced my creative side through trialling & adoption of the latest software, hardware & camera equipment.
I currently live in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. I'd love to find a role that recognises a work / life / family balance and that allows me to use some of my creative skills during my day to day work.
